What to work toward
Think of one bay as reserved for the next branch arrival. Purple, orange and pink can help the current flow, but an extra duplicate competes with green for that reservation.
The moment to check
Watch the right-side merge instead of the whole ring. The first accessible green group is the reason to change your bus choice.
If the queue stalls
When the row is crowded, inspect which active counter can still fall. Do not add another warm-color bus simply because it is exposed in the yard.
