The connector matters more than the color
A long U-shaped course contains an inner ring and several red connections.
What to work toward
Use yellow and blue to make the lower connector reachable. The horizontal red vehicles become useful when red actually reaches that connection.
The moment to check
Compare the lower junction after each departure. A red patch elsewhere on the course does not establish that this junction is open.
If the queue stalls
If a red vehicle waits without collecting, return to the last point where yellow or blue was still moving. Check the route change there before repeating the red dispatch.
